Telephone or email our office to confirm that the yacht and dates that you require are available. At this point we can also get a feel for your party’s requirements for the holiday. We will then send you a booking form via email to complete. To confirm your reservation we require the completed booking form and a 30% deposit. We can only hold bookings for a period of 7days from when the booking form is issued.

What’s Next?

On receipt of the 30% deposit and booking form we will send you confirmation of payment and an invoice for the full amount. The balance of which must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you are booking with less than 8 weeks until your holiday then payment in full is required on booking.

Paperwork

From your booking form, we will prepare the necessary paperwork required for your charter and send the copies to you to be signed and returned. This means that all the paperwork can be completed before your arrival and you will be able to focus on purely having a good holiday!

By Greek Law it is not allowed to have more people on board your yacht than the number of berths stated on the yacht specification sheet. All people on board are required to be on the crew list.

Qualifications

For bareboat charter it is necessary that one of the party has the correct skipper qualifications. This must be an International Certificate of Competence or the equivalent as recognized by the national governing body of your relevant country.

For skippered charter all our skippers have the relevant qualifications, just remember that when booking they take up one berth on the yacht.

Whats Extra

Holiday Booking Deposit- A 30% non- refundable deposit of the total holiday cost. This must accompany the completed booking form.

Refundable Security Deposit- The yachts are fully insured under marine insurance against loss, damage and third party liability. It is expected that you will take reasonable care. However, in line with industry practice we do require a security deposit. This is required against the possibility of damage to the yacht, loss of items or late return. There is a penalty charge for the late return of the yacht. On completion of your holiday the deposit will be returned to you, less any deductions, following an inspection of the boat.

The security deposit will be shown on your booking fee and can be paid either in cash or by credit card at Vliho before the start of your holiday. Please note that there is a 2% surcharge on the cost of any damage or penalty charges paid for by credit card.

Holiday Insurance- We recommend that you take out your own personal holiday insurance to cover you for this type of holiday.

Airport Transfer- Whilst we are more than happy to arrange transfers for you, they are an extra. Just let us know your travel details and we can take it from there.

Fuel- On arrival your yacht will have a full tank of diesel. On your return to base the diesel will be refilled. This will show what you have used and you will be charged at a local rate for this amount. A 2% surcharge is applied for payment by credit card.
